Focus Bracketing. Focus bracketing enables continuous shooting with the focal distance changed automatically after each shot. These images enable you to create a single image in focus over a deep depth of field. Compositing is also possible using an application that supports depth compositing, such as Digital Photo Professional (EOS software).
Remove any debris (airpuffer). Now check the lens (rear). Same drill (airpuffer) and light. Remount the lens. Put Camera into M, Tv, Av, etc. Perform a full reset of main and custom (C) settings. Check the buttons on the lens. Ensure AF, turn off IS if on a tripod. Retest. Your images depict a complete AF failure.
Manual Mode. In manual mode, by default, the shutter speed is the selected setting to be changed. To change the aperture you have to hold down the Av button on the back of your camera. Shown in the red circle below. With the Av button held down, you are able to roll the index finger dial and change the cameraâs aperture.
Canon Cameras. Models: EOS 5D Mark IV, EOS 6D Mark II, EOS 80D, etc. Go to the âCustom Controlsâ or âC.Fnâ option in the menu (varies depending on model). Select the âShutter Buttonâ and set it to âMetering Start.â Select the âAF-ONâ button and set it to âMetering and AF start.â Sony Cameras

Set the lens focus mode switch to . 3. Press the < > button. The Live View image will appear on the LCD monitor. 4. The AF point will appear. Press the to move the AF point to where you want to focus. It cannot go to the edges of the picture. To return the AF point to the center, press the < > button.

AFAIK, using a transparent LCD with OVF the only way to display grid lines and camera settings within the OVF image area; and with the transparent LCD next to OVF doubt the red flashing can be eliminated. Various 35mm SLR's used transparent LCD with OVF. With the 6D II there has been improvements compared to my Nikon N80 SLR.
