Ford Mondeo TDCI - DPF and Service Oil Warning advice - craig-pd130 : Go to another dealer, they're clearly ignorant about this car and engine. Mondeo 2.0 TDCIs do NOT use Eolys fluid to help the DPF regenerate. Taken from Ford Wiki Transmission Oil (Mk4) Transmission oil specifications according to Ford, Mondeo Mk4 02/2007--> 6-speed automatic AWF21 ("Aisin", 2.0 TDCi, 2.3 petrol). The oil level should be between the Min and Max marks. Make sure that the oil filler cap is properly tightened. Check the threaded plug of the drainage hole and the oil filter seal for tightness. If necessary, carefully tighten them up. Replacement: engine oil and filter – FORD Mondeo Mk4 Estate (BA7). Tip from AUTODOC: It's a mk4 2007 Mondeo tdci. I'm led to believe it's somewhere under the inlet manifold so it may not be visible (in the pic) but a rough/general location would help massively as I'm intending to remove the manifold for cleaning anyway so would like to check the PCV valve whilst I can access it. Engine running, brake pedal applied, select all gear positions. for 20 seconds each. Return to PARK. STEP 2: DRAIN THE OLD FLUID. There are 3 drain plugs before 02/2009, 2 drain plugs after. Anyone on here ever had to access or replace the turbo on a 2.2. I've got a minor oil leak coming from around the Turbo and it's in a god awful place and looks like a real ball ache to get at. From the underneath i can access the oil return pipe but will need to remove the drive shaft and exhaust App Vay Tiền.
