I had the Audi required first service done @ 1000 miles & it's only been less than 400 miles since then. Audi dealer says I have to have an oil Firstminor maintenance service due at 5,000 or 10,000 miles (depending on the model year) or 1 year after delivery, whichever occurs first. Thereafter, every 10,000 miles or 1 year after first service, whichever occurs first. Brake system - Check the thickness of the disc brake pads. Engine Oil and Oil filter - Change oil and replace filter. Audihas implemented this system so that you can do the oil change outside of the dealership, but for major inspection you have to go to them so that they will reset the Turnon the ignition without starting the engine.
